Happy Friday!! Today I am going to explain some of the work flow that goes into editing engagement and/or wedding photographs, and why this process is SO important in the quality of the final images that I deliver!

In-Camera RAW File VS Final Edited Image
To give you an idea, I would say that for 8-10 hours shooting at a wedding, I would spend around 30 hours selecting and professionally editing the images, viewing all edited images, and making further corrections. So for a single wedding I would spend 40 hours on planning, photography and editing, and probably another 5 to 8 hours on travel and meetings before the wedding. Not all images require a lot of work, some images would require just a few minutes, while others I want to edit more artistically may require 30 minutes or more.

That my friends is what makes editing SO important for your photos!! And it’s what I LOVE doing!! 🙂 I’m not joking when I say I’ve been editing photos since middle school… it’s something I’ve ALWAYS loved, and I’m honored to be able to put all of my experience into YOUR special images.
